REAL MADRID vs. AC MILAN: Important information for match day
ARRIVAL BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT (bus/train)
The arrival and departure by rail/train with an exit at the stop „Klagenfurt West“ is possible for visitors from all over Carinthia for 11,- €. The capacities from Lienz to Friesach will be increased from 1:30 p.m.! The same applies to the departure between 9:00 and 10:30 p.m..The free shuttle service (entry Minimundus) can be used from „Klagenfurt West“ to and from the stadium!
The ÖBB/Postbuses offer a bus transfer in the regions directly to the bus parking lot of the Wörthersee Stadium. The departure times in your region and prices for the tickets can be found at www.postbus.at!
On the day of the event your ticket entitles you to use the buses of the Klagenfurt Mobil GmbH (KMG) to and from the stadium from 2:00 to 10:00 p.m. for free.
Furthermore, the free shuttle buses at the stations freeway access road A2, Minimundus P&R & at the meadow can be used from 2:00 to 10:00 p.m. ATTENTION: Masks are mandatory in the shuttle bus (mouth-nose-protection)!
ARRIVAL BY CAR
Due to extensive traffic measures around the Wörthersee Stadium, we recommend the use of the catch-up parking lots or the free shuttle service from 2:00 p.m. from these parking lots to the stadium and back after the game! Starting at 2:00 p.m., the shuttle buses will drive every 10 minutes.
The following parking facilities will be available from 2:00 p.m.:
1) Freeway parking lot A2 Klagenfurt – St. Martin
Instruction by steward service – free shuttle service
From 2:00 p.m. with the shuttle service or earlier with public service buses
2) Minimundus P&R
3) “Wiese” Villacher Straße (opposite Minimundus)
Further parking facilities:
4) Lakeside parking lot (free, no shuttle service)
5) parking garages in the city centre (fee required)
6) Messe Klagenfurt (1400 parking lots, price per day € 6,-)
Numerous roads and access routes will be closed around the stadium – also short-term closures due to high traffic volumes may occur.
Please try not to drive to the stadium by car, unless you have a valid parking ticket for one of the stadium parking lots.
There are no public parking spaces available directly at the stadium and extensive traffic jams can be expected. From 3:00 p.m. a wide resident protection zone comes into force, then parking is only allowed with a resident vignette!
IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR ALL VISITORS
Controls and 3G (tested/recovered/vaccinated) proof for stadium visitors:
Before entering the stadium, each visitor has to provide proof that he/she has been vaccinated, recovered or tested according to the currently valid
rules! Together with the proof of identity/ID this proof will be checked!
For this purpose, 3G (tested/recovered/vaccinated) control stands will be set up around the stadium on match day from 2:30 p.m., where visitors of the match can pick up an admission wristband as proof of a valid tested/recovered/vaccinated check. Only with this wristband and a valid ticket it will be possible to enter the stadium.
Attention: If this proof can’t be provided and admission is denied, there is no right to get a refund of the ticket price and the visitor has to leave the stadium area without being asked!
Prohibited items in the stadium:
All pyrotechnic items, stick umbrellas (pecks are allowed), PET bottles, cans, thermoses of any kind can’t be taken into the stadium. Professional cameras, video and other recording devices are strictly prohibited. Cell phone cameras are allowed!
