The world cup hosts for over 5 months in Austria

Since the beginning of June, the national team of Qatar has been training in a camp in Marbella/Spain for their home world cup. Subsequently there’s a stop planned in Salzburg for over a month, before the team travels for another 4 weeks to Vienna and ends their training camps back in Marbella again.

The complete party around the Qatari national team, which arrives at the end of June in the Pinzgau area in Salzburg, consists of 80 people. The families of the players are also invited to stay with them, meaning there are around 150 of people expected to come. Our HQ area Leogang and also Kaprun and Maria Alm are the hosts for accommodation and training.

Following the games in Autumn in Hungary, we also organize – beside the 5 ½ months or training camps – the 32 test matches for this period now. Games in Austria are planned to take place in Saalfelden, St. Johann/Pongau, Kössen, Wörgl, Schwaz, Mittersill and Grödig, with others to come (further information can be found in our category “test Matches” – which will be updated regularly).
